Influential Research and Policy Advice
The Cleveland Fed conducts research on a wide range of topics important to monetary policy, the financial services sector, and the payments system, and has a long history of research and innovation in the field of inflation. Research analysts play a key role by conducting research with economists and supporting the policy process, investigating topics such as:

Regional Expertise
The Cleveland Fed studies issues of concern to the economic prosperity of its region--Ohio, eastern Kentucky, western Pennsylvania, and the panhandle of West Virginia. The Regional Analysis Group and Community Development Department analyze data, gather insights from contacts throughout the region, and produce analyses of conditions and issues such as the following:

Our research analyst (RA) recruiting cycle typically runs from September through November. We accept applications, conduct interviews, and extend offers throughout the cycle. New RAs typically start in June or July of the following year. Applications for summer internships follow a similar schedule.
