Our highest priority is to advise the Bank president on current economic conditions and inform their work on the FOMC, supported by high-quality research and analysis. Our District also hosts the prestigious Jackson Hole Symposium and has a Center for the Advancement of Data and Research in Economics.
Center for the Advancement of Data and Research in Economics (CADRE)
CADRE provides high performance computing, code, and data services to researchers. The CADRE staff help research associates:
- Learn how to effectively use a high performance computing cluster
- Write faster and clearer code
- Easily access and use unwieldy or classified microdata such as the New York Fed Consumer Credit Panel or the Current Population Survey
Jackson Hole Economic Symposium
Each August, the Tenth District hosts one of the world's most preeminent central bank conferences in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. The symposium brings together central bankers, academics, and market participants from over 40 countries to discuss timely economic policy issues.
